AzureusSky Rules and Conduct

AzureusSky Linkshell is dedicated to end game activities in Final Fantasy XI and it's expansion packs, these include Sky, Sea, Salvage and Einherjar. AzureusSky Linkshell is similar to other end-game Linkshells in the Asuran community in terms of commitment and dedication to excellence.

Events

We are primarily a European Linkshell, all of our event times are based in GMT.

Wednesday, 8pm : Sky Farm
Thursday, 8pm: Sea Farm
Saturday, 2pm: ZNMs or Sky Gods
Sunday, 2pm: Sea Jailers or Sky Gods

Saturday and Sunday afternoons are used to pop Sky Gods and Sea Jailers.
Note: Should we have no pop, those 2 days will be used to pop ZNMs or other NMs that require the help of the LS.

AsureusSky's events are not mandatory, but we expect you to make yourself aware of the upcoming events (as stated in the Linkshell message and on the forums) and try your best to attend. If you're online and plan to attend, please arrive to the event on time and prepared, this means attending events with the correct equipment, food, medicine, and reraise items. If you're not sure which items are required for certain events - you can refer to the guides posted on the forums, ask the Event Leader or a Sackholder. So if you're unsure - please ask!
Of course we are all human and we do fully understand the need to have a break on some days. Whether you've had a bad day or for any particular reason are not feeling upto the task it is okay seeking for EXP Parties, missions, quests, assaults or salvage during a scheduled event as long as you give Sackholders a heads up.



Recruitment

AzureusSky is often looking to extend their ranks, and recruit new members. AzureusSky have some entry requirements, in order to participate in our daily activities you should be sure that you have Sky (Zilart Mission 12+) and Sea (CoP Mission 7-5+) access (If you don't have sea access and your apply is accepted, we expect you to work on it ). Meet these requirements and understand the rules and conduct we expect from members before submitting your application. AzureusSky is not looking for the following:

Members with the inability to pay attention or follow intructions
- Lack of patience, or whiney attitude
- Members found to be slacking, or continually AFK during events without informing a Sackholder
- Members who are unable to follow the guidelines for sea/sky as posted on the forums.

The trial period is two weeks from the day of being pearled, during this period you cannot lot anything unless it is completely freelot as per a Sackholder. Your contribution will not go unnoticed as Attendance points will still be awarded for time spent with us.


Courtesy, Morals and Ethics



While every person who plays Final Fantasy XI has their own morals, sense of courtesy and ethics (well.. almost every person), AzureusSky is no different and expects members to abide by a set of basic ethics towards their Linkshell friends and more importantly; members of other Linkshells.



- Members of the Linkshell should not engage in drama using /say, /shout and /emote channels. This not only makes your self look bad, but everyone associated with the Linkshell too.
- Members of the Linkshell should not attempt to kill steal a monster that has already been claimed by another group of players, unless that Linkshell is in danger of wiping.
- Members of the Linkshell will not contemplate or whine about drops, this is why we have a points system. It works, you are awarded for the time you spend with us. If you feel that a drop would be better suited to linkshell mate who would put said drop to greater good than yourself then please show some courtesy and pass for them. If you're a lootwhore, this Linkshell will slowly weed you out - so learn to love your linkshell mate and they will love you!
If you make us look like assholes/idiots you can go away.
As a member of AzureusSky, do not talk down to other members. Treat people with the same respect you wish to recieve. If you have a problem with someone, speak in tell with the someone in question, or explain your problem to a Sackholder. If it all seems to be blowing up in Linkshell chat and a Sackholder asks you to stop, please do so immediately.


When a sackholder is explaining a strat you have to listen! Feel free to ask any question. Don't get upset if we're giving you some advices.

Don't respect those rules and your AP will disappear.

About multipearling :
You're allowed to keep your social LS and specifics-events LS like Limbus and Dynamis. But AzureusSky must be your only sky/sea Linkshell.

Lots :

Loot is distributed via a wishlist and attendance point system, where attending events gets you 1 point which you can then spend on wishlisted items (limited to 5 items).
e.g. Lemmming attends 3 sky events, thus gaining him 3 points. He can now lot W.Feet when they drop off Genbu. Lemmming loses those 3 points if he wins the lot.




Reservation rule :

1)You need 30 AP to reserve an item.
2)You can reserve a single item before the event;
eg. You could ask me to sign you up for W.legs a day before Kirin or something, but it only counts for that event! If you reserve the w.legs for tomorrow, it won't count for next week if they don't drop. You have to sign up again.
3)When/if the item drops on that event, it goes to you.
4)When you got your item, you're not allowed to reserve at next event.
5)If two people reserve the same item (try to avoid this, but it happens), the person with the most AP gets it. If they both have the same AP, job priorities are applied.
eg. Nilheim + Alipay reserve w.legs for PLD + RDM, both of them have 33 AP. Nilheim would get them since he is a PLD. But if Alipay had 34+ AP, he would get them.
6)The point cost for the item is increased by 20 when you recieve it.
eg. Joelapache reserves Kirins Osode, it drops, it costs 10 points, he pays 30 points.



Bank :

We will be using a Sell/Split system to keep it fair for all the people who attend the event. Keep in mind that only the people who farmed for the pop will be given money (it's only fair).
eg. Nilheim and Peppitta farm water and get the drop while Kaviano and Sukotey kill Zip. Nobody else has farmed anything, so when the LS pops Genbu, only Kaviano, Sukotey, Peppitta and Nilheim will benefit from the money drops.


Rules are always open for voting should some disagreements occur.
